Are y’all ready for a NEW adventure?
Come join our “South Central Regional Meeting”
in
Hot Springs, AR
Sept. 9-12, 2024
at the
Historic “Arlington Resort & Spa”
Highlights below:
- The Arlington Resort & Spa (pictured in the background just across the street from Bathhouse Row) was built in 1875. When you walk through the doors, you’ll feel like you just traveled back in time.
- The hotel is located on Central Avenue, just across the street from “Hot Springs National Park,” the second smallest of the US National Parks.
- The park consists of “eight” historic bathhouses along Bathhouse row (an easy walk from the Arlington) spread across 4 city blocks.
- Each of the bathhouses was built between 1892 and 1923; this small section of buildings was once described as the “Grandest collection of bathhouses of their kind in the nation.”
- The National Park visitor center is located in the “Fordyce bathhouse, ” a great place to start your tour. One of the most elaborate and expensive bathhouses in Hot Springs. You’ll find ornate ceramic fountains, stained glass ceilings, and marbled walls with antique gym equipment and medical artifacts used for medical treatments.
- Two bathhouses are still open for bathing:
- The Buckstaff House – offers full spa treatment
- The Quapaw Bathhouse – Offers thermal water sessions, massages, facials, and more
- The Superior Bathhouse: Holds the only “Brewery” located in one of America’s National Parks. The excellent hot spring water of the region produces an impressive array of craft beers along with a great food menu, including vegetarian options.
